Screen Sizes

Standard Screen Printing Size

Standard Size Frame = 15″w x 16″h Printable area – up to 14 colors

Standard size screen printing is our most commonly printed shirt size. We can do front, back, sleeve, locker tags, pretty much the standard of printing with this size screen. Our meshes range from 20 through 305. We hand coat all of our screens for the best possible emulsion thickness and consistency. Our screens are exposed for the proper mesh count, and are usually can be used for printing up to 20,000 prints. We also print with plastisol and waterbased inks. When we print with the waterbased or discharge inks, we use a different type of emulsion so the stencil will not break down as easily. Most screen printers won’t come near waterbased inks, but that is one of our specialities. Because we have a belt press, we are forced to use waterbased inks to print with. That knowledge overflows to our standard, over-sized and jumbo prints.

We welcome the opportunity to quote on your standard sized print job. We can run samples for your big press runs, and print up to 30,000 impressions per week. Thank you for stopping by and looking at our website.

Oversized Screen Printing

Oversized Frame = 17″w x 22″h Printable area – up to 10 colors

For people looking for a larger than standard print, they usually jump up to an oversized print. It covers almost the entire surface area of a shirt. All of our screen sizes can be used with both plastisol and waterbased inks. Normally we use Newman Roller frames for our oversized printing. We do this because it provides the greatest tension and printing surface for the t-shirts. When used static frames, after a few several thousand impressions, the mesh works itself loose. Using the rollor frames, it allows us to keep our tensions very high. This in turn creates a better lay down for the ink to pass through the screen.

We always try to keep improving our printing methods and technology. Soon we will be having a direct to screen image setter, for producing screens. This new technology will greatly speed up our turn-around time for our screen department. We also recently purchased a dip tank for the reclaiming department. This greatly increased our efficiency for removing exposed emulsion from the screen. We will try our hardest to keep you abreast of the new technologies we are acquiring. This in turn will help us provide you the customer with greater quality and turn-around time.

Jumbo Screen Printing

Jumbo Frame = 19.5″w x 26″h Printable area – up to seven colors

This size of frame is one step below the belt presses printing capabilities. It covers an even larger area than the oversized and standard frames. We use mainly static aluminum frames for jumbo printing. This is usually because the Newman rollers are very hard to tighten when the frame sizes gets that large. The Jumbo are run on our larger automatic presses, up to seven colors per job. Call us today to see if Jumbo printing is what you are looking for.

Belt Screen Printing

Belt Frame = 42″w x 50″h Printable area – up to four colors
Belt printing is one of the special niche type of printing that we can do. It involves printing the entire surface of the t-shirt. We can print both sides of the shirt, first printing the front side, then curing the ink and flipping the shirt over and then printing the back side. Belt printing is not very common. There are maybe 3-4 belts in the entire country. Our belt press is an M&R Predator model. M&R is the industry standard for screen printers around the world. We try and invest in quality equipment and products that will stand the test of time.

With our Belt Press we are able to print on the entire surface area of a t-shirt. The screens for the belts are roughly four by six feet. This allows us to print on a XXL shirt without any problems. We have worked with many major companies and brands using this printing technique. From Harley-Davidson, to Abercrombie & Fitch, we have created successful solutions for many many clients.
